History - 2006 to 2007

2007

2007 saw the launch of our distinctive ‘heroic’ branding and advertising. The campaign dramatises our unique structure - a collection of superheroes joining forces, using their individual talents to outperform the competition.

Resolution announced the launch of its fourth joint venture, Maia, a multi-manager boutique. This gives Resolution exposure to this key asset class for the first time.

2006

Britannic Asset Management changed its name to Resolution Asset Management. The new name crystallises the changes the company has put in place over the past two years.

In January we launched a range of offshore funds domiciled in Dublin under Resolution International plc to help develop our international distribution. In addition, we launched our third joint venture, Hexam, an emerging markets boutique.

To further enhance our liability driven investment capabilities we launched a scaleable LDI pooled solution, called Reliability, aimed at small and medium sized pension schemes.

We successfully took on the assets of Resolution Life and the Abbey National Life businesses taking our funds under management to around £59 billion.
